Battlecruiser Alamo Into the Maelstrom Battlecruiser Alamo Series Book 23 eBook Richard Tongue
This is an ongoing series, and an attempt to reboot it after what I thought was a very good conclusion.Mr. Tongue should let this series end. I admit he is a good author and I do enjoy the series, but IMHO he has mined this for all it's worth. He can develop the other characters in that universe in different storylines and be just as successful.
I swear he needs a new way to start his novels though. In almost everyone of them, some nefarious character is trying to sabotage the ship. A reasonable reader would think that the Confederation would have better ways to vet crew members.
Action is good once it gets started and Mr. Tongue move the plot along as usual.

Battlecruiser Alamo Into the Maelstrom Battlecruiser Alamo Series Book 23 eBook Richard Tongue Reviews
As usual this. Trip of the Alamo was a very exciting and fun book to read. I really could not put it down. The characters were very good and the story built you up so good that the end came up before I realized it.
90 percent of the book was a rehash of previously written plot devices with at least some new characters being introduced. The conclusion though was worth the earlier slough.
It was as good as all of the Alamo stories but it stopped right in the middle. I just wanted to go on reading as the story line was building and I turned he page and it said "to be continued!" I was ready for more! This series of books is very well written and I hate to put them down. I will be awaiting the next book!
Flies rapidly from disaster to disaster. Pretty much anything that can go wrong, does, at the worst possible moment. The captain and crew face impossible odds that eventually leads them to. ....???!!!
If you've gotten this far in the series you won't be disappointed. The only negative thing I have to say is that the next book hasn't been written yet.
Two different characters shook their heads in the same page . Drives me nuts, but I love the story.. Richard, your gonna get me to head shaking.
This is as always another day in the life of the Alamo...teists, turns shockers...everything you might want to have in your space opera!
Richard is hands down one of the most productive writers I have ever read. I can actually picture what he writes about in my mind. One of my favorite descriptive writers was Edgar Rice Boroughs and his Mars and Venus series. Richards writing is no less descriptive. Into the Maelstrom is another great story about characters you know and as usual you learn something new about them again and again.
This is an ongoing series, and an attempt to reboot it after what I thought was a very good conclusion.
