The building stands on Halifax’s shoulder, a monolithic condominium of haunting, postmodern beauty.

The structure isn’t on any map, however, nor does anyone live there.

Lights twinkle on and off during the night, illuminating windows dimmed with dust. The lobby reeks of sweat and fear. A faceless shadow sits behind a front desk, directing lone visitors to an elevator that stops on the upper floors only. The select few who venture to the top of that imposing mountain of glass, steel, and concrete do not ever return.

Two men, however, will enter that high-rise deathtrap and brave its horrors.

One man is searching for a missing woman.

The other is trying to deliver a pizza.

“Isosceles Moon” is a novella of 30,000 words, or about a hundred pages. Contains coarse language and violence.

Isosceles Moon eBook Keith C Blackmore Reviews

Liked the story and the characters. Love books by Mr Blackmore. Hope to read another story about Ice and the mysterious David.
Loved it, Keith is my new favourite author after reading the Mountain Man series and Breeds.
Isosceles Moon character and story style reminds me a bit of Odd Thomas, particularly the second book in this series, you just never know what might happen next, I hope there will be many more of these books.
Started out a little slow, but when it picked up, boy oh boy! Suspenseful, wasn't predictable, which was great. Ending was sad for me though.
Another great start to a promising series!

Enjoyed this marvelous little novel. Interesting characters and setting with a creature I've never heard of before. I can't wait to hear more of Isosceles Moon.
This is a perfect story to be told, sitting by a fire. It is a perfect length to scare your friends and make them say..... More More, what happens to Ice? To tell more would ruin the ending..
Great short story. I hope we get another follow on, although this one is perfect like it is. Not intended for YA but could be enjoyed by them and older. Thank you for the tail.
This was a well thought out, entertaining book. When it ended I was pissed! Really enjoy all this author does.
Write faster, write more often, that's the only complaint I have about Keith Blackmore...oh and maybe have some stories that occur outside of Halifax or Canada in general....I get your Canadian but most people aren't. Taut, clever, frightening, what else can you say about Keith Blackmore? He's damn good....
I've read a few of Keith's books and he never disappoints. Isosceles Moon is a fairly short story and if you don't like horror then it won't be for you, but if the macabre is your genre than read away because it's a very entertaining book, with a weird (and original) take on the monsters in the story. As I've said in other reviews, it's crazy how many other sub-standard writers are picked up by major publishers while this guy blows most of them away and he's ignored. Keep 'em coming, Keith....
