I received Coming Home by Graylin Fox, for free in response for a honest review. Truth is, the book would not load on the device, so I bought a copy on Amazon.I was disappointed with this book, unless it's young adult. I found it informed and immature. I liked the fey parts, but that's part of my personal history, and I like that.
The book didn't have any noticeable errors, except for the galloping way the story went from nothing to everything.

First, I would like to thank Graylin Fox for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
One part of the book that caught my attention were the fairy characters in the book. I happen to be a fan of the mythical creatures. For Graylin to intertwine them into the story was genius.
Beann Fhionn sounded like amazing place to grow up in. I loved the way Graylin described the land where she lived.
Tears started falling when I read what happened to Chris and little Christopher!
My heart went out to Lyn as her Granny was the only family that she ever knew. She passed away a few years earlier and left her this beautiful Beann Fhionn. Her parents left her with Granny at a young age. Sad but Lyn never saw any pictures of her parents and never asked any questions. Thankfully, she had Granny because she was the best.
Great quick read! I am a fan of Graylin and enjoyed this read!
I'm not exactly sure what is going on here. The story is chaotic and filled with errors. I found all of it a bit confusing. I would not recommend this read because it's not that it wasn't my type of story but that it was just not well-conceived.
I will be MORE satisfied IF this a beginning or a series...but it's not clear if it is, so I was quite disappointed finding it too short for the story development. Nevertheless, character development is commendable. I wish that there would be more to it.

The only thing about this story is that it wasn’t long enough. The author gives you enough to get you wrapped in the story and then leaves you hanging. Which is a good technique to use to keep the reader coming back for more. This is a wonderful story about Lyn learning who she is after she has lost so much. She doesn’t think she can go on without them, but finds out that once she came home everything will be okay.
Coming Home was written with a lot of vivid detail, painting a rich scene that I could almost actually see. I enjoyed the picture that was painted not only of the landscape, but also of the sense of home and love. Due to the brevity of the story, it did feel a bit rushed and truncated; at times I felt I was missing key points that had been left out to shorten the tale, which was disappointing. I felt a bit cheated, as though this were only a portion of a prequel, but overall, I liked the writing, and would like to read the whole story.
This was a odd one to read. I was drawn by what it was about. I have read this author before but will tell you she is sneaky in this one. She has the character Lyn take you on her journey she starts in this with also her sadness that overwhelms her almost snuffing her out until she goes to where she grew up. Rays of sunshine seep into her but you also learn lots of things in short period of time. Things will certainly get popping with her learning lots in short period of time about herself with this read being a short one too. You are left on the edge with this one going oh no do not stop now.
